Yep, that´s my mixing desk! :D I´ve had it for about 10 years now, and it sounds just warm and beuatyfull! :D

I´m currently working on a R&B/Hiphop project, even though I don´t listen to the genre myself! :wink: But it´s fun to do!! :D

I´m also working on a pop/Disco project who´s release has been delayed untill next spring/sommer 2007.

And besides that I´m working on my own personal electronic music album! :wink:

It seems to be a pleasure to work with such a mixer. You have some kind of semi-pro studio? I can't see someone with it in a simple "home" studio.

No, I don´t have my studio at home, it´s located in a big building with lots of other studios, so it´s easy to do "cross over" work with other producers too! A really fancy place!! :wink:

I have a Fostex MultiTracker Model 280 since one week, I have no cables yet but I didn't pay it too much, only 20€ !!! (instead of 150-200€, as I seen on eBay)

Right now I just use a Vestax PMC-05 Pro II. It was actually bought as a scratchmixer, which I also still use it for.

Any tips for a guy who has to buy a mixer he can put in a rack with the maximum inputs, onboard FX, for about 200€ in secondhand ?

I found these ones :

- BEHRINGER EURORACK UB2442FX-PRO
- YAMAHA MG16/6FX

It seems like Yamaha is better appreciated, as the effects are said to be better, and they are producing much less noise.

Tips are welcome ;)

The Yamaha MG series is great and in the low end prices. Regarding the efx sections on the MG's I'd it's rather a bonus, as the tweakability of each effect might be limited.
