I want to record cd audio 96 kHz and 24 bit. What soft I need to use? Nero reports unsupported file error :(

Nero can really screw up on some PCs. Try another program (Windows Media?)

The only way you can do that is to use MLP lossless compression and then you can make a DVD audio. Downside is the encoder program costs only $2.500,00...

DVD audio is the only format that can use 96/24..... Normal CD's can only do 44.1/16...
