We all have our favourite tracks, and Jarre is only human. He cant play them all. These shows are getting plenty of mixed reactions, and from that Jarre will now doubtly learn. The track listing is down to the artist and what he feels more comfortable playing. Afterall, this is a live show and not his usual "showman" shows. It must be a challange to remember all those notes to each track, specially when performing them live. My hat is off to the man.

I can agree with you...still I was missing at least 1 new track.

The more I look at images of these concerts and listen to recordings, the more it reminds me of a 21st century verison of the CiC shows. . . . . I like it :peacemaan:

However, one thing all the recordings have that I really, really dont like is Jarre and those bloody 'AERO' style cymbols. Personally they are drowning out much of the music performed. There is no reason musically for them to be there other than for Jarre to have something to do with his hands. . . . . This is my only gripe with this tour.

There must be some sort of addiction, that he must bang the symbols from time to time. Anyway, that is my opinion of what videos I have seen. Kinda like a rush to the head. :p:

I think Jarre has a phobia. He has to be doing something with his hands. I have seen this with other people. They cannot sit still for a few minutes without messing with something to pass the time away. Two people I know who drive are the same. When driving, they are messing with buttons across the dashboard.

I can't imagine a better starter than Industrial revolution with all the synths layered on one another and Jarre coming out of... nowhere with sound coming out of... everywhere ! Great drama.

And just to mention again (I guess it's been already) how "strong" Dominique is on the solo parts... Such a big creative finger man. Maybe he's even better than in the 81s' Chinese concerts, playing to perfection his parts. And Rimbert is about as good, while he seems to being "used" a little less on the choruses !

It could be a sign of high activity in JMJ's hands. They just enjoy moving. :smoke:

You know me already.... I am a serial fidgeter... I *have* to keep several things going on all at once or I'm just plain bloody useless.. so I can sympathise with JMJ if he's got to use 'those cymbals again'.... and if he's got to be doing several things at once with both hands... and thats on and off stage.. restless minds... constantly busy....
