korg minipops 7 : schematics needed

Radek,

for you sound problem, check the sound board output resistance for each drums sound. is the balance pot does work ?

for you second problem (it's more esay I think :D), check all the power supply : VTG VPG VLG ... is there are ok, next step : check the flip flop just after the start/stop switch. this circuit allow to the master oscillator and all other flip flop decade to work.
Important : Is de lamp work with the tempo pot ? or she stay always on ?

first one: balance pot works. trimmers work also but they don't affect sound so much

second one: ok i'll try :) the lamp is still on

hey matt & radek ;-)

I'm very busy with me new house, at this moment all my synth and the MP7 are in boxes.
Moving the eminent 310 (without scratch) is a very good experience :D
My new studio is soon ready then I can contiunue the next step to syncronize the MP7.
Open MP7 and test was functional. Just thinking to keep the both tempo : extenal and internal with a switch.

@ Radek, what about your both defect MP7 ?

hi there

Many thanks for the schematics, ive been after these for quite some time, i have the intention of building one of these from scratch (using digital sequencing and keeping the original sound) with midi intergrated, i am skilled with electronics. I do not have access to an original Minipops to do checks on.

I have been studying the schematic and i almost understand what is going on but i cannot find where the RS pin goes (bottom of the 860hz tuned circuit) and where the Quijada and Tamborine are triggered from ?

Also are there any photos of the sequencer board ?

if anyone knows please let me know, your help will be appeciated
