Dunno, I always considered water as very untasteful, even mineral water from the stores, but for some reason I tried a french brand and it tastes very good... :D

When people think that water shall taste something special, I think that the soda-pop coulture have finally getting where it want to be. Namely into the way were you are addicted to the taste of what things taste. It is a sad fact. I love water that is normal!

:?

It just tastes different. Got nothing to do with cultures or commercial soda-pop-culture. It's a plain fact that water from the different parts of the netherlands tastes different. And so does mineral water. Why do you think different brands exists then?

Different brands on water is just there to milk the people of money. It is a culture where you read that water on bottle is more healthy and is more long lasting. Has gone through the earth in milion of years to get the taste. Then when you look at the bottle it stands that you can only have it til "the best before date" that is on the bottle. All about marketing.

Sure water taste differnet from different places but the differnece is really small. The water that you get for free in your home has almost got the same amout of minerals in it. Some might say that the minerals are dangerous the ones you get at home. But when you look at who is markting this idea that the water is dangerous at home. Are the same that marketing products to clean it in places that are already clean. You see the obvious milking money out of your poket theory is true. In many Euopean countries it would be better to spend a few of this money on cleaning the water before it reaches your home for free you would get it better and it would stay healty.

This is exactly like the soda companies do too. so it is all part of a culture. Even the different flavoured waters that you can buy those days. They might be of less sugar then your nectar at home. but instead you could buy strawberries and put in the water.

Water doesn't taste the same, but I don't care if it from the tap or some undergroundsource. To me, water is water. Some years ago, I was in Norway and I think the water from the tap was different from any other water. It was more sweet. The bottle mineral water is also sweet in some way. I only drink water because it is important for the body or because I get thirsty.

I didn't knew they had french mineral water outside their country? :D Isn't the water there is from a local source, or have the french people invaded your country by calling the water there french?
