It's a breathing bag. Either Jarre is out of breath or he hyperventilated during the concert. You only have to look at him when on stage, jumping up and down. Jarre used to be (maybe still is) a smoker.

Perhaps it's just a joke as it's got something to do with Oxygene?

I mean - if I were JMJ I wouldn't have somebody take a picture of me wearing that if I had some serious disease... :smoke:

I think it might be a joke!
But i know it was a very hard tour....successful ...but I am sure Jean Michel and team was very tired and did look forward to vacation and relaxing!

Maybe Jarre is absolutely healthy and fine,but of course he can have health problems..then I must say I am really impressed they go on a new world tour next year!!

Just been reading the latest new entry on the jarreblog - and again, I feel there's a billion entries for the caption thread there just BEGGING to be used!

And what a wonderful blog posting he's made too.... very wordy and full of meaning.. kinda makes me want to be a fan... er.. wait! I already am :D

The first picture shows seriousness from Jarre. The second is no differant, except for the people who are with him and the smiles on their face; for the camera?, who knows.

A joke could come from this, Oxygene, oxygene mask. But can Jarre crack a joke while keeping a straight face. It's certainly a puzzling photo. If it is a joke - move out the way, gags a plenty coming for the caption thread - but not from me. if it turns two people got lucky with having a photo taken with Jarre while he is feeling ill, then speedy recovery JM (I dont make fun of peoples poor health)

Not for the want of being picky, but. . . . read it twice but I didn't see any mention of it being a joke. Yes, you see 3 photos, but that is Jarre mimicking a caption for the photos (wonder where he got that idea from :nico: ). He was mocking himself basically. But I did take note of this. . . .
