I knew it! :peacemaan: rfoshaug, your cover performance and impro's really are that 'extra special' imho.
There's a spooky Jarre feeling all over it and you very well deserve it.
I'm happy for you and that JMJ has a gr8 taste and...well...congrats mate. :D

You deserve the praise. Your Equinoxe 7 cover is by far and away the best I've heard (and there are some superb covers out there) the improvisation at the end is brilliant ! :D

I'm sure JMJ or someone in Aero heard that and were suitably impressed :D

Rfoshaug. some more congrats are posted here for you. Just in case you have not seen them.

It seems so unreal now. When you first posted the video and shared it with us, I knew it was gonna be a winner. :bravo: I wonder if JMJ read the comments, as well. :P If he did , he might have read my comment on your video.

Wow, thank you. :D

I almost don't know what to say - I've been surprised by the amount of positive comments on the Equinoxe 7 video, as I wasn't really sure if people would like the improvised part at the end, or if many would think of it as ruining the song.

So it was almost a bit of a gamble for me and i did wonder whether I should include it or not. Now it seems that it worked out nicely, and maybe it is this extra little bit of creativity that made Jarre notice it as well.

That said, there are many other very good Jarre covers out there. For all of you out there who feel that your cover should have gotten mentioned instead of mine, I have this to say: :punch:

No, seriously, I almost feel a little bad for all those who have created excellent covers that didn't get a mention. But hey, that's not really my problem, so today I'll just enjoy the good feeling. :)

I've written a comment on Jarre's blog to thank him for this nice gesture.

He he no, I am Norwegian. "Milde måne" (meaning "mild moon") is a bit of a joke between me and my brother, as it is probably the mildest form of "cursing" on Earth. :)
