Not sure if this is anyone else's cup of tea (except maybe GeeJee), but: Widor 6th Organ Symphony
I had this on VHS, looking to get the DVD, great to see someone has posted this on YouTube. One of my favorite organ pieces, on the very instrument for which it was composed, played by a world-class organist. Neat thing about the recording is that microphones were actually down in the sanctuary, and synced up with the performance in post-production, so you get the room ambiance in the St. Sulpice church.

EDIT: Pretty sure this is NOT playback... :P

I'd much prefer the original Skinner restored to its former glory.

As for Casavant Freres, they do decent enough work, but they're no E. M. Skinner. NOBODY is. And if they're too cheap to restore it, then Van den Heuvel is an entirely pointless discussion.

Take a listen, and tell me if this sounds like an instrument that needs replacing:
Franck: Piece Heroique (Douglas Major, organist)
Gigout: Grand Choeur Dialogue (Ann Elise Smoot, organist)
Bach: Toccata & Fugue in F, BWV 540 (Douglas Major, organist)

Maybe it's the American in me, but this makes my hair stand on end:
Aaron Copland: Fanfare for the Common Man (Douglas Major, organist)

Yeah. Sure. Just gut the thing.
