Yes you can almost say that he represents campaigns for a better environment.

This subject is very close to JMJ's heart. He is trying his very best to draw attention to the issues that face the environment. 8) The most important thing is that it shows that he cares about the planet. At the same time, sharing his thoughts with his fans about these issues. My 101% respect to JMJ!!!

Like Elisabeth said, nothing new under the sun.

JMJ want a change - Unesco want a change - a young lady who touches his feelings, want a change in the way we are living today.
He is showing it in every way that he can, with all respect and hopes. Don't we all?
The todays stock markets, wich makes the richest on earth even richer and the poor even poorer has to collaps in its very foundations before there can be any real change and it's just sad. Eventhough it's hard business to deal with the situation, it's not an option to pretend that nothing is going on and carry this issue over to younger generations....young ppl that allready have very high pressure on them. Infact sometimes so much that they're going depressed and cuts their own limbs in an attempt to understand...what the heck is wrong with this world?

Everybody somehow got to at least show that they care for the global situation, that's the new political agenda and ppl shall pay their taxes for it, no matter what...no excuses. My little question is...should it really make that difference we humans so desperatly needs right now?
Well at least I hope so.
Maybe the sun have some mercy with us...at least for a little longer.

A new political agenda?
I need to say I have always been political neutral!
And nothing will change that!
I am listening to the girl speaking..even if you say she is bringing a new politic out to the world!
I will say,we have heard lots of fantastic words from politicians young and old
What do they do?
....they send weapon out from the left hand and blessings and promisses of peace with the other hand....so if Jarre try to speak about new politics!
I am not into this...
Cause all politicians are only small pieces in a greater play and have no power to do much in the global situation we have today!

I look forward to a new consert or a new album by Jarre!

I don't know at all what kind of music this will be...old or new style!
Will i like it or not?...time will show! :D

We should start a comical thread based around Jarre's blog and name it "Jean Michel Jarre's Favourite Word Of The Month". . . . . This month it's - future.
I did not sleep much because I also made a lot of music during the nights.
That's code for something else of which we really don't want to know about
Jarre concerts attended - Destination Docklands 1988 - Paris La Defense 1990 - Europe In Concert 1993 (Manchester & London) - Oxygene Tour 1997 (Birmingham)

Nono, it does seem to ring true that the musicians I know (including my partner) have a tendancy to be more creative at night as regards music production and need a prod with a sharp stick to wake up at a respectable hour the following day...

Regarding the stick, a gentle kiss from my dear girl works fine too

I tried that once... but all I got was "GERROFF ME YA FAT BUGGER!!!"

now I stick to shouting 'wakeyyy waaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAkey' from noon onwards..... at random intervals..... I'm usually hoarse by 3pm

I'd like to know Annes view on the whole thing about him creating music at night... if she sits through some production.. that sort of thing... heck, maybe we can get together and share 'all through the night ' stories of 'how listening to the beginnings of a potential track and knowing that one part is possibly 0.5db too loud from the kitchen'

I guess JMJ is going through that 'new toy' phase - hence the mental hours of producing stuff... can't say I blame him.. I wouldn't mind being a fly on his studio wall sometime :D
