Certainly not, Oxygene 7-13 is a masterpiece IMO. Metamorphoses is also brilliant but I'm not sure how much of that is a solo work.

The mics indeed would be used to pick up the crowd's applause and maybe the sound of the hall (albeit low in the final mixdown).

This seemed to be the case in Birmingham, but has anyone else noticed mics put up around the stage? Mics as in proper professional venue (I would presume condenser) recording mics, not vocal dynamic mics. There were at least four present at the Birmingham NIA gig.... The menus are quite nice - the film has been split into three parts (chapters): The Setup / Beijing, Equinoxe 5, and Shanghai. I'm not sure why the tracks weren't used as chapter points.

I can remember, I think it was in COTM, that Jarre was asked which album Metamorphoses would be closest to before its release... He said it sounded very different to any of his albums but that the closest one was probably Zoolook.
