The Jupiter 80 is not something I would want to buy. A Fantom is better for live settings but lacks the analog modeling part in this case.

What I want from Roland next year is a black workstation (call it Fantom-Z or whatever sounds nice), with an analog modeling engine built-in AND a huge flash ...

I'm talking of a sound based on an LFO with variable speed and a pitch bend down at the end of the sound.

Last purchase is Nordlead 2X (one month ago). Next on the list: VP330 (early march). Then I won't be needing anything more for a while.

My latest synths are a Yamaha SY-99 (october)... sold 2 weeks ago.

And an Oberheim Matrix-1000 (my second one, bought in november). I still have to use it.

I mainly bought 3 guitars since last october (Takamine acoustic, PRS electric and Ibanez nylon) and a Boss GT-Pro to plug them in.

No wishlist for me at the moment... I've got everything I need to record my music (well I'm still waiting for my PC and Sonar 7 Producer to arrive). I'd be glad to replace the Alesis Ion by a Nordlead 2X though.

I'll certainly record a few things with it in the coming weeks.

Well yes it's a bit strange, but why not. A 1- or 2-year old IMac shouldn't be too hard to sell. Or you would keep it for other stuff if you can afford a Mac Pro without selling it. :wink:

My plans are still changing about what I'm going to do (maybe just re-vamp my PC with 3Gb RAM, newer ...

Then of course I will fill up the computer with a bunch of softsynth etc.. All on a IMac 24´.

We´ll see.. :P


Why not consider a Mac Pro with two 22" displays :mrgreen:
