Hi,
Just some advice that I've been thinking about for my DIY modular. If you've got a modular synth, get a ZX Spectrum, learn how to use the BEEP command then get an Envelope Follower + Frequency/CV Converter. You can then use your ZX as a pretty complex sequencer for a very very small price.
