Not bad at all, not bad at all!!!

But I still think it´s ugly....

Wicked synth,had a go on one in my local music shop,its much more than a revamped MS2K as some people see it,the sound is so much more cleaner /sharper,some of the presets are excellent,
It kind of reminded me of a combination of the MS2K/Electribes,dues to its interface with the step sequencers


for personal preference though when i eventually get one,i shall opt for the rack only,the keyboard action is Ok(korgs usual plastic cheapo on lo end synths)but i think Korg need to redesign the Keyboard frame system as it doesnt fit onto a second tier of a Quiklok stand (or any other 2 tier frame stand) as the Frame is too deep for it,i think korg need to add some form of adjustble subframe or a bottom plate for the frameworks to allow it to sit on stands properly.
I'm waiting for the price to drop,at the current price i think the module on its own is rather steep,even if i do love Korg stuff.

Its definetly on my shopping list though

The one I tried first was screwed up, so it put me off them a bit. I still find them a tad confusing, but they are nice synths.

Someones don't like this synth, but i do like!! I hope Jean Michel will generate great sounds and tune by this as well!

I think the appearance is severely shite... so that's where my interest stopped, basically. Now that I watched the vid, i'm still not really convinced...

It's like putting a little of that, a little of this into a synth, rather than focussing on one particular type of synthesis...

I don't like the design at all.
This video makes me want a microKORG, can you believe it ?

I am not too convinced...

It's not on the top of my wishlist but I like it. Maybe too much workstation but this does also include some cool effects. To me the presets he demonstrate are also nice and so is the demonstration track Stratosphere.

I'd demo one before you make a judgement on the appearance,i was too like you thought it looked horrible,and just basically a beefed up MS2K so i didnt really see the appeal of it given that i have an MSRack,but after playing on one for a while i was totally blown away demo videos and pics are one thing but have a go on one,you'll be quite amazed by what it does and how it sounds,the only thing that lets it down is the shitty keboard subframe.Its a nice idea catering for both the rack studio person and the person who prefers the synth version,korg then don't have to make a Keyboard version and a rack version seperate ,so the can make one model but still intergrate it in both a rack and keys...quite a novel idea really,but the frame design/size needs looking at IMO

I know it's not a real "vintage monster" but anyway, I think as a totally newbee I could have quite fun with this little toy.
I like the sounds in the demo files. It can be both sharp and a bit warmer. I guess you have to check for it in a local music store. In my thoughts there is also Nordlead 2G(?) or Access Virus(?) but they are even more expensive.

Then you should definately go with a Virus TI! IMHO much better than this Radias. Nordlead2GX has modular synthesis, which isn't your best choice to start with. But that's just my opinion...

Oh yeah, I like the ION... too bad they didn't do a Rack... Micron is awesome too, but imho not enough control and knobs...

I don't like racks!!! I only want the keyboard-versions of synths!!!
