My guess is the Atmos mix of Oxygene.

The "sign up to the mailing list" link quite the Oxygene vibes. I do wonder if this is the same mailing list as the one that already exists.

I hope if it is an Atmos mix release they not only release a new mix but also Some demo’s , alternate versions

I would be surprised if there's going to be demos or alternate versions.

The image at the top of his name is just a cropped part of the Oxygene 3 cover, so no doubt it'll be Oxygene related.




Unrelated to that, Jones, I'm haviong some issues with the site. I can only post new messages, everything else leads to a HTTP ERROR 500. And I mean, literally everything else.

It can either be the recording for the new album.

The reason I suspect it's Oxygene atmos mix is because Abbey Road has done Atmos mixes for older albums like the ones from The Beatles:

So their tech is proven and probably high-end and still developed on. And the engineers are people with experience.

I visited there back during Christmas back in '19, but unfortunately absolutely nothing was happening (though understandable considering the time of the year) at that moment.
Really cool that, whatever is happening, is happening over there. We can only hope that if it is the original Oxygene, that at least it will be more than a up-mix as most of the releases he's done.

What did you have in mind? Re-recording? Nah. That won't be happening.

I couldn't care less about Dolby Atmos. It's yet another "gimmick" which brings very little to the table, especially with upmixes. I remember being excited for Aero, but even though some rearranging has been done the music sounded very hollow - as if there was not enough instruments to fill all those channels, and that's because the original pieces were very limited and Aero replaced some parts instead of ADDING. Now JMJ's newer works (I'm thinking mostly about Electronica) are a different story - those arrangement are incredibly rich, and the testament to that is the WTTOS 5.1 mix, where there was enough musical content to spread across all the channels. I could hear parts of arrangements of Stardust and Time Machine that before were very very faint, merely buried in the stereo mix.

Re-recording? Well, we all know what happened back in '06 regarding that
