1976: At the height of the punk and disco era, Oxygène hits record shops like a revolution. Forty minutes of electronic music unlike anything anyone has ever heard before. Initially rejected by every record label, the album would go on to sell more than 18 million copies. Amid the tensions of the Cold War, Jean-Michel Jarre transcends cultural barriers, from staging epic concerts in Beijing’s Forbidden City as the first Western artist to perform there after the Cultural Revolution, to transforming the skyscrapers of Houston, Texas into monumental concert venues. From his first home studio set up in a Paris kitchen, to his recent large scale immersive shows, this film traces the extraordinary musical odyssey of a pioneer of electronic music, a visionary artist who has broken every boundary.

Different directors, different playing times, same name. Confusing. Or could the project have been taken over by a different team? The Arte PDF mentions the Seville concert which is out now, but they didn't show the documentary.
