Rendez-Vous Houston: How many camcorder / amateur videos exist?

Hello everyone! :D

I've had this question on my mind ever since I watched Rendez-Vous Houston for the first time a year or two ago, and was curious to know just how many camcorder or amateur videos of the concert are available to view online?

As of now, I've only come across two different perspectives of the concert on YouTube, one focused more on the buildings and projections, and the other focused more on Jarre and what's happening on the stage (albeit in quite poor quality!)

I'd be particularly interested in knowing if whether or not there's an upscaled version of the second video linked above, as I personally find it to be the most interesting one out of the two, or if there's at least a better version which doesn't look so blurry and unclear.

I've also tried looking at older posts on the forum about the Houston concert, but unfortunately most of the links had gone dead many years ago. If anyone could help answer my question or link any new footage of the concert, I'd really appreciate it!

There are only these two camcorder videos. There is also a third video, which is not a camcorder, but contains news reports from that time.

I've seen this montage of TV reports before and find it fascinating. I love hearing Oxygene Pt 1 and how effective that is against the skyline, creating such an eerie atmosphere. And while the TV networks do acknowledge the celebratory nature of the show, the spectacular that had never been seen before and the positive audience reaction, the American media obsession with litter, traffic and 'taxpayer dollars' is something else. Is that really the story to be told here?

Just finished watching it, fantastic to say the least! It was really interesting to watch these interviews from the night of the concert, and some of the new angles of the buildings and stage were refreshing to see. I was also quite surprised to hear some of the interviews used in the "Cities in Concert" album on this compilation.

Though as pointed out already, it's quite odd how much the American media chose to focus on things like the traffic and the 'taxpayer dollars' going towards everything instead of Jarre and his previous concerts in China and France, which I believe were only mentioned once or twice.

Perhaps it could've been because at the time of the concert, (I think) Houston was having some kind of oil crisis and was running short on money, so thought the amounts being spent would be worth reporting on? I remember watching a video on the INA archives about it because Jarre and the concert were mentioned briefly.

I really hope more footage of the concert emerges some day, it's one of my personal favourites of his performances, and thank you for bringing these interviews to my attention! :)
