Hi all,

Anyone familiar with the VST plugins from Superwave?.

I want to try the Trial version of Equinoxe before buying it. But i got no sound

Installed correctly but when i launch the VST in Ableton i got no sound.
All the settings are correct, and my midi controler works fine with all others VST's exept this one.
Non of their trials actually won't work

Also tried to start Ableton in administrator mode, as they mentioned in the FAQ on the website but makes no difference.
Actually, isn't there a manual for this on how to use it?

Do i miss something?

The plugins by this company are average. Yes you get many presets that sound similar to the sounds from Jarre's albums, but you will not nail all of the analog sounds correctly. You need other plugins, that directly emulate the hardware synths Jarre used.

For playing around and hobby, they are okay. But for serious musical work in terms of emulating analog synths, not so much.

Sounds interesting. But what other plugins exactly are you refer to?

Superwave Equinoxe is a very good start point for many sounds. If you replicate some Superwave Equinoxe presets on other VST (like Arturia collection) you could obtain better results. But the Superwave team has done a very nice job in my opinion.
