Here's what I've got so far! I've been working on this for quite a while
Mix is not prefect, but I'm definitely happy with how it currently sounds. It aims to be the most accurate possible to the Polish TV Broadcast version of Industrial Revolution (Overture) during Jarre's 2005 Solidarnosc concert. Let me know if anyone is interested in hearing isolated instruments or tracks! Enjoy

Nice one !! How did you create the pad/drone sound at the beginning ? It sounds exactly the same !
What about drums ? Samples or a specific drum machine ?

Well, still haven't completely given up the search on the missing samples, here is a remake of the strings, with Kontakt's strings instrument. Although to be honest you're able to create similarly good results with Logic's built-in strings!
It's really hard to make the notes out, but here is the most I could hear out!

That is a very very nice cover. The staccato string part sounds great.
