No, no idea. The English language release was postponed due to the Covid-19 lockdowns in 2020, which seems odd as getting a book out there is a good idea when people often have more time to read and think. Since then, no new release date has been announced. I really hope it's not been cancelled.

For what it's worth, I bought the French version on Kindle, and managed to read it using a combination of my poor French and the built-in translate option. I could highlight 2-3 pages at a time, translate to English, and then work thru that way. It took me ages, but hey, that's what being a super fan is all about! :D

Covid-19 has now become a really great excuse to delay/cancel pretty much anything.
which seems odd as getting a book out there is a good idea when people often have more time to read and think.
I don't think they are using it as the "it's not a good time for books" excuse, it's more like "work on the book is now complicated" excuse.

This be the labyrinthine ways of the publishing world. I've got two books on hold that are translations of a very well-known Nordic writer – with significant market interest – but 'the time's not right' factor has swung in. It's often down to the subject (or in my case, their estate), clearance issues over quotes or excerpts... or just budgets. Not just for printing and distributing the book, but for marketing and promotion and things like that.

These budget allocations can happen years in advance, and with the COVID cutbacks now in the mix... I'd say we're probably a couple of years away from release.

But I really, really hope I'm wrong!!

The English text version has been ready for a while.

On JM's facebook chat last week, he stated the English version is ready to be released but has been delayed by the Covid pandemic.

It will be released later on this year when the book shops re-open.

Yeah, good question. Once every month I do a search on bookshops to see if it's available, but no.

Do you think? This might be the reason?

It's such a shame that the english version hasn't happened yet. When the book was announced I was really looking forward to getting a copy but I can't see it happening now. I did attempt to make a few email enquiries regarding a potential timetable for the english release however I never received a reply. It's heartbreaking as this was something I was really excited about.
Concerts Attended :

Tour 2010: Cardiff CIA 06/10/10
Electronica World Tour: Cardiff CIA 04/10/16

Favorite Concert: Destination Docklands 1988

I'm thinking the book awaits a release when Oxymore comes out. Maybe there will be a tour, perfect opportunity to sell a book... But that's all wishful thinking.
