3 days ago, on the french radio Europe 1 , JMJ said that :

In french :
J’ai un très beau projet dans le désert d’Arabie Saoudite produit par cette très grande plateforme qui s’appelle « Vice » . Un projet où on va faire un film en même temps sur un concert qui va avoir lieu en début d’année.

Translation in english :
I have a beautiful project in the desert of Saudi Arabia produced by this very large platform called "Vice". A project where we will make a film at the same time on a concert that will take place at the beginning of the next year.

Vice is a popular platform. Looking forward to it, if all things will go ahead.

not heard anything much more in this project - and it's just a month to go! is this concert likely to happen?

I admit, the lack of promotion here is astounding. It's next month!

Thanks for that link to Azimuth!

Although there is mention of a concert, the only thing it really says about JMJ is that he's participating in the documentary.

There's no specific mention of JMJ performing a concert. Having said that, I'm told by a fan that Fiona Commins had mentioned some time ago (during a JMJ Melancholic Rodeo book signing session) that Al Ula is going to be a ''big show''. Maybe plans have changed since then (or she was mis-quoted).

I've messaged the organisers for them to confirm JMJ's involvement :D
