My latest track

This night I woke up and had a lot of inspiration to record a track. So it's mainly inspired by the night. There was some strange orange glow in the sky, hence the name of the track: Memories Of Orange. There was a little bit of inspiration derived from Vangelis... but the rest is ... mine...
(JD: Drums, El. Piano, CS80 // MS20: FX, white noise // D50: Bass, FX)(the voices are from Sonny Crockett and Rico Tubbs)

As I already said you, it reminds me Sessions 2000 mood more than Vangelis' mood...
I'm the first listener and I'm very happy to listen to this beautiful music

After first listening, it reminds me Klaus Schulze's works done in late 80's.

I like it, maybe a little too "digital" for my tastes, but it's good. Sounds a bit like Tangerine Dream's Live Miles in places. Could be becuase of the DX piano....

This is pretty damn neat. Not that Vangelisque, really moody and awesome percussions. Perhaps the movie samples are somewhat silly, but not that disturbing.

Nice gentle buildup of chords & atmospherics to 1min 26
Reminiscent of Jan Hammer Miami Vice.
The improvised solo on 1min26 to end is excellent :
enough light jazz flourishes, space for the music and the solo to breathe, just the right feel.
Fitting percussion and cymbal programming throughout.
3min 41 - 4min 55 break from the solo is excellent.
Also its reappearance on 7min14 stops the track being monotonous.
The vocal sample on 6min06 & 6min 36 & 7min 19 with some fx on the last, 8 min 23 & 9min07
keeps interest in the track just at the right time and is done tastefully & sparingly.
The build down on 8 min36 to the end is first class, mirrors the opening buildup and
fits the mood of track excellently.
Memories of Orange is indeed very night time atmospheric.
The best compliment I can give it is that
It could easily have been on Vangelis’ The City album.
And it is better than a lot of the tracks on there.
One thing : the sound for the solo is a bit harsh and is a bit loud in the mix.
It is Very commendable that you have let the music speak for itself
Instead of telling everyone how good & wonderful it is … an empty vessels rattles a lot.
It is clear your music is neither empty nor rattling.
It shows a significant amount of natural gifted talent.
