ELECTRONIC MUSIC IN EUROPE WILL OPEN THIS YEAR
Running 2018, Frankfurt will be the scene of a major event in the history of electronic culture. The German city will (finally) become the headquarters of the Museum of Modern Electronic Music (MOMEM), building entirely dedicated to the history of electronic music. A call for donations has been launched to fund the museum, which will trace a journey through the past, present and future of electronic music.
"Electronic music has a family, an inheritance and a future. A quote from Jean-Michel Jarre, which can be found on one of the MOMEM promotional posters , and which perfectly fits the museum's line of conduct.
