I had them somewhere... maybe I'll dig them up if I find the time...

what's that byzantine ?

It's a sitar sound, used in Aero (the track). Sorry, I lost the sample... can't find it...

Its only a Standard Dulcimer patch, most synths will have at least one or Two

Any GM/XG/GS capable synth will have one

I saw the JV90 can have the SRJV Vintage card, but which cheaper synth can have it or can replace the card ?

there was a hardware 1U Rack module of the Vintage card,its the Roland MVS-1 it has some interesting sounds,most notibly the Mellotron sounds from Oxygene 7 and 8

I have one of these Modules,picked it up from a second hand shop for under £40...Its very limited with its editing,but you have more flexibility over it with System exclusive messages.

Given its the same PCM data i suppose this is the only alternative to buying a JV and the Expansion board

You can find them if you look hard enough,but there doesnt seem to be many around these days(dont think they made many units) and your more likely to find the Expansion board for the JV's than these modules...

The web says that the dulcimer was proably introduced in Europe/15th century while the so called "Byzantine empire", which was the greek term for the late roman empire.

Its quite funny to see why certain manufacturers name there Patches with some sort of connection to the name

The Korg triton has a Mellotron Patch called "Watcher of the Sky" ...

connection with Genesis and the mellotron heavily used on the Track

there also a Combi patch called "Erraj si gnivil" it has all sorts of Jarre type arpeggios and pads ....Spelt backwards says Living is Jarre


They also named the Trinity so because its made of of 3 main circuits in reference to the Holy Trinity(the Father ,the son and holy ghost)
