When talking with Jean Michel Jarre on the development of electronic music, it soon becomes clear: After more than 40 years after his milestone album "Oxygène" - he still lives in the middle. And much rather he calls himself in the same breath with acts such as Air, Massive Attack or Moby, than to have the word "apparently pioneer of electronic music would-being "so right. The headquarters of Jarre's creation is quite central in Paris, vis-à-vis the Seine. Hardly occurred, we feel fast as in a synthesizer museum. ARP 2600, EMS Synthi AKS, mini or Memorymoog. Korg PS-3200 or Elka Synthex: analog treasures everywhere you look. But not really a well-maintained museum pieces, but full of traces. Confusing wired filter, LFO and amp modules, scarred user interfaces, with the Edding trailing parameter labels, damaged wood paneling and a lot Phaser!
