EQUINOXE 5 Chorus sound

Does anyone know how the Equinoxe 5 chorus sound was made?
I know it's backed by Eminent strings - as is the main theme.

It might be Eminent too.
I've made some test some month ago with Cromina, and the result was not too bad

Hmmm...... not sure. That site specifies it was used for part 8 and the sample doesn't have much 'life' in it. But who knows?

I agree with Olivier, that's the sound that make me though of eminent, certainly because of the BDD chorus.
Based on that sound, i guess this gear was use in Equinoxe 5, 7 and 8

Yes, but many sounds from the live performances are played on different instruments than used on the original albums - and they sound different too.

this pe2000 belongs to francis. i had occasion to use it while visiting his studio in paris (snapshots cover is actually my picture
). for sure it was eq5 chorus. many sounds on equinoxe were done using this one.

I know the scores say the first 2 notes of the chorus are G / B flat, I am wondering if F sharp is hit at the same time -ie: F sharp / G / B flat.........?

Exactly. There is F# just before hitting G, a kind of jazzy playing
And it comes practically all along the chorus.
Never trust the score, especially for Oxygene and Equinoxe

I'm pretty sure the chorus on Equinoxe part 5 was done with the eminent. The Korg P-2000 is only used on Equinoxe part 8. The website with the instruments of Jarre that is mentioned(

No, it was the PE-2000. I have had five of them and I think I can vouch for that.

It's the P-2000, no doubt about it after listening it on jarrography.free.fr . Also thought it was Eminent, but not. Anyway, maybe an eminent sound could do the job.
Please tell me some exemples of mistake and bas sound exemples on the website ?
