8000€ in a synth like this one is great, but you have to find 8000€...

These instruments are rather useless for starting musicians, unless you buy a rather small system or if you want to copy Tomita or Wendy Carlos

I'm asking me why JMJ has not one....maybe Michel Geiss have one to play with

I was going to go with AS for an analog, then I changed my mind to Synthesizers.com, but now I'm DEFINITELY going with this. Thinking Arp2600.

When I said "not very expensive", I compared it to other modular, of course it's much expensive than a ION or something like that

The red square is interesting indeed, but the synthesizers.com can beat alot other modular synths, maybe because they are meant to be a copy of a moog, and they look cooler

But may I add that the Red Square can fit easily with another modular, especially if you get a rack cabinet.
So, if you want say a nice guitar synth, Red Square + Synthesizers.com envelope follower should do fine.

Do you think it is possible to make a very very simple synth (with sounds like those you can hear in Oxygène 2) for less than 50€ ?
It could be interessant if it is easy (my first SDIY) !!

Possible. The almost expensive would be the hole raster platines (usually 1.60€), the potentiometers (cheap ones 0.53€), the ICL 8038 (2.45€) and a housing. All other components varies in the range between 0.05 and 0.50 €.

And in addition: "Easy" in no way, even it "looks" easy. If you never soldered something by yourself, i´m sure you will get many problems. But if you do it -slow-, then -maybe-. And don´t forget: The best Synthesizer doesn´t work without a Master Keyboard (Doepfer: 110€ for a Midi to CV interface including PSU),

Yep, that'll be my first electronical creation....
But instead of the master keyboard, can't I take a "shoke" button or "attack" button ?
I only look for an easier VCS3 !! With one VCO, one LFO and a filter, dunnow if it is hard but it is enough for effects (I think )
