Cosmonauts wrote:Cosmonauts was lucky to have the chance to work together with the french musician Jean Michel Jarre, to create the new official website. Jean Michel Jarre is known for he's creative universe of light and music and live shows performances where he uses whole cities as backdrop.
It was important to Jean Michel that the new website was modern and future proof, and was accessible from mobile devices. The current site was using old flash technology with proper fallback.
THE NEW SITE
We wanted to start from scratch and try to only reuse the content in some kind of form. It was a common decision to make use of opensource software to have the freedom to do create the site in the direction we wanted instead of the other way around.
Wordpress from chosen among other systems, because of its simple user interface for administration of the site and the power of extending the functionality. With Wordpress we only have to think of the content instead of the technical parts.
FESTIVAL DE CARTHAGE
On August 12th Jean Michel went to Tunis for the only 2013 concert to perform at the Carthage. We went with the team to capture the spirit and the concert.
IN THE WORKS
We are currently working on a new photobook from the Festival de Carthage. The book will be published as an digital-only book - available from iTunes Bookstore and as ePub downloads.
It will be published before Christmas.
