Weird that it wasn´t part of the Essentials and Rarities collection though, it's old style Jarre and would have fitted perfectly on the Rarities disc...

I didn't note when it dates from but judging from the sounds used, I'm guessing around the time of Waiting for Cousteau ?

I believe the documentary is from 1991 so around that time yeah :)

It was available as a free download on Jarre's website in the 90ies.
However it was a slightly different mix than the Palawan video (only 2 minutes I believe).
On the non-official Rarities 3, the video edits are available:

I think a fully downmixed version would have been 3 or 4 minutes..
Hope Jarre releases it someday officially.
