I have had an idea regarding JMJ concerts. Now, many people on here (and possible JMJ himself) want to see a return to the so called mega concerts. But in today's economic climate getting the funding for such a project is difficult. So I had an idea to get around this.

A Jean Michel Jarre Kickstarter project.

I am amazed this hasn't come up in the past as I believe it is a great idea to get a potential project off the ground. The idea of such a large concert, using an entire city possibly will potentially go seriously viral as I think many people will be excited to see such a project. There could be all kinds of great rewards, such as backstage access and the opportunity to meet JMJ. I seriously believe that a huge portion of the funding could come from a kickstarter project like this.

It should be done in my opinion.

Jarre tried something similar in 1989 when he planned his 200th anniversary concert for the storming of the Bastille; the idea was to sell "public shares" to audiences, but obviously it never took off.

He came back with proper funding in 1990, came back in a big way
