01/W's "Animotion" combi patch - wanted...

If someone could help me, how to create this combi patch. What program patches are included, filters with all parameters etc. and how to create these programs (I mean PCM waveforms)... I don't have 01/W :? , but I'd like to create something similar to 'Animotion' on Wavestation, or M1, or T3. Similar, cause I think, 01/W's needed PCM waveforms aren't included in these machines... :? :roll:
Please help...

Animotion is that on Wavestation or 01/W? I have both, I'll try to check.

What synth would you use to recreate that sound ?

'Animotion' is a combi patch on 01/W (or 01/WFD) (A10 factory combi preset). As I said, I'd like to create similar (as possible) 'patch' on Wavestation or M1 (or T3).
If you could tell me, what programs are used for this combi, how to create these programs from PCM waveforms, what about filters, effects etc... with all parameters. This may be helpful for me...

The Animotion combi is made up of 3 Programs on the 01W

1.A85-Bell rise(This is also used on Chronologie 6)
2.B00-Dreamweave
3.A89-50's Sci-fi




1.A85 Bell rise is made up of a single Oscillator program using the "Belltree" Multisample

2.B00.Dreamweave is made up of a double Oscillator program using "Tron up" and "aahs" multisamples

3.A89 50s scifi uses a single oscillator program using the "Pole" Multisample



If you have a Korg Ai2 Synth that has these mutlisamples ou should be able to recreate the combi within reason,but given that the 01W has waveshaping it ma not replicate 100% on another AI2 synth....

those VST sounds youve done are very good....


The M1 is a no go,because it doesnt have the Tron Multisample,which is what gives the Animotion pad its swirling sound,Wavestation maybe an option but yet again it doents have the Tron sound,a typical Korg synth that would be able to replicate it is something like the X5/N5 as these include the majority of the 01w PCM data,although they dont have the waveshaping options of the 01W

Thanks a lot for the info, Equin(00)xe! At least I know the names, maybe I'll look around for similar things.
Well, yesterday I browsed the contents of 01/W samples (Akai-CD) by Nicebeats and there is 'Animotion' sound. How nice, but... the sound quality is crappy (too distorted and loud). I'm not satisfied... :roll:

Hmmm, as usual when I write down the gearlist, this is the last post of this thread... :roll:
Well, for the choir I used Luxonix Purity (this choir is very close to the 01/W's 'aah'). For effects I used Sonik Synth 2 or Atmosphere (depends on the demo file).
