Jarre in NME magazine [scan]

Few weeks ago Jarre featured in NME for a short interview. This is pretty surprising considering that NME is more about guitar music. Here's a scan:

Perhaps Jarre translated the lyrics - he didn't know of - "Give me a sign" in French, while there were way more lyrics he'd write in French rather than in English...

I was joking hence the smilie.
Although I think he's more interested in sounds rather then words and their true meaning.
Sometimes it's hard to even make out single words like in some tracks from the Zoolook album.
It would be hard for anybody trying to remember all that.
Anyhow...is Jean Michel Jarre really Rock'n'Roll? The studio recordings I think not
but when he's performing on stage sometimes he acts as if it was Rock'n'Roll being pushed out to the audience.
The music and the man's choreography is like two different beasts sharing the same room.
Although I think he's more interested in sounds rather then words and their true meaning.

I do not understand the answer to question 3.
The purpose of the "Geometry of love"cover is understandable, but what has this to do with tights ? 
Maybe tights
have a sex appeal for him, but they are not shown. When I look at the cover, I think more of a particular female center (center of legs ... )
The album title "Geometry of Love" suggests that Jean Michel confounded love with sex.
