With the welcome appearance of those 1977 Jarre at home interviews on YouTube it may now be possible to diagram his studio? I had always wondered what his actual studio surroundings were like while he recorded Oxygene & Equinoxe. Though the interviews clearly took place at his home studio they are poorly lit so it is hard to get a sense of the actual geography of the (dining?) room.

Can anyone shed any light?

I enjoy a lot when I discover new old Jarre interviews on Youtube. Indeed we know more precisely how look was the oxygene studio at the time.
The real important thing we don't have, is how are the pre-version of Oxygene 2 and 4.

There are Oxygene demos? Really? Does anyone else have any information regarding this.

(I'm guessing that's what you meant by 'per version'?

I think there have/had to be demo's, Jarre needed to start somewhere and not just record and see where he ended up with Oxygene. Especially in those times I think Jarre would have an incredibly hard time getting everything together, let alone be able to have a decend supply of recording reels.

Oxygene 4 demo has been used for a tv or radio commercial, as ancient lore said.

Before it was stolen to me, i use to have the very rare scorebook of Oxygen and Equinoxe only, by Alain Pierson, with some photos of the "studio" (photos by Charlotte Rampling).
