The best quality I've seen so far, and it's NOT the vhs (studio) version, but the TV version.

Holy hell!

Edit: Halfway through, and this is by far the best quality I have yet seen of this concert, it's amazing that after 30 years the video still looks this vibrant! The cutting towards projections being a direct feed instead of, well projections , is a tad of a waste, but the actual live footage of Jarre Mimicking and the audience and enviourment is great! :D
The audio quality, yeah I guess I shouldn't be complaining it's quite good, or atleast untill the Bass of Equinoxe Part 4 shows it's head, dear lord... Someone should be grabbing the CD's along and master a new mix, this is way to much of a bass boost :P

Edit again: Finished watching and overall speaking, I am amazed! I never thought I would ever see so much goodness from this concert, let alone so much in such quality as it is. One thing that I can remove of my Jarre list that I had to see some day
27-11-10: Ahoy Rotterdam
22-11-16: Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam
01-07-25: Palais royal de Bruxelles/Paleizen Plein Brussel

The original source is not much better than the video you see on youtube. It's mpg (vcd) quality. So I guess we could only improve sound quality but not video.

What you see on youtube IS from the compressed original source, and it's not mpg, it's mp4

Heu? how is that? I can open the video here and watch it (ok, it's the Netherlands, but we're neighbors, both in Europe)! What kind of message do you get?

Yes, he has it on 8 data DVDs (full of mpg files). And yes, I kept it for myself because I wasn't allowed to upload it. I don't think that's too hard to understand. That's why I never mentioned having it either... up to now because many people think they should have everything, and if they can't they get mad at you. And for your knowledge, at least 2-3 other people on this forum already had this video, but no-one had uploaded it because there's a legal issue here. Now this guy on youtube has taken this step. Something might happen or maybe not. He's probably going to continue uploading rare stuff anyway.

Well good to know that there's plenty of people who keep everything to themselves or try to sell it for a crazy price. I did find the footage on my own and don't blame you for not sharing(I didn't for the same reasons, but if somebody asked, I would've at least hinted where to look)..But what i don't get is your manner of interaction with other fans. You never reply to messages, you wanted to buy a dvd from me , but I couldn't send it because of high shiping fees, the next day you ask -who I am and why I added you in a rude manner...you're just weird.

First, you did have a hint because people mentioned ina.fr on that topic (French Appearances).

Second, sorry but I always answer my messages. If I didn't answer yours I don't remember, and apologize, but I think it's unfair to say you don't get my manner of interaction with other fans just because I might have had a problem with you (which I really don't remember, I repeat).

Fourth, asking who a person is and why they want to contact you is not rude at all. Some people want to be added as friends on msn or facebook and they're just automatic requests to send virus or spam. So, asking directly is not being rude.

Finally, all Jarre fans and collectors are weird :pwned:
