Just to be clear: I didn't post this on youtube. And the reason those things are hard to come by is, I think, a very practical reason: most of these old recordings, if not all, are all on VHS. And as we know, VHS is a bit outdated (the moment DVD was released, actually), most of those tapes are somewhere in a box upstairs in someone's house usually.AERO62 wrote:Why didn't you share it ealier? So we have to thank that youtube user. if you check his other vids, then you'll find a few tracks from the Versailles concert filmed by a different camera. Quite rare too I'd say.I understand, but a lot of rare footage is posted on youtube in a really compressed quality, so someone must've digitized it, that's why I asked. Another problem is -master tapes, I think we often get to see a copy recording in degraded quality with bad sound or blurry picture, instead of the original one. Photographs of the Concorde concert are rare already.
