Anyone knows something about the drum sounds used on "indus. revo." "September" and "Tokyo Kid" ?

Akai MPC-60 had normal drum sounds, didn't it?
It could use sampled sounds, but since Mr. Jarre is not know for sampling his own stuff, it's maybe not that plausible

Is it just a normal kit sound, tweaked in pitches and with a lot of gate reverb and compressors?


Any ideas?

Hmm, don't think I can hear the small stone.
I have no idea how those Dynacord ADD1 sounds like or how it works? Isn't it a drum sampler it self? Why use MPC-60 for sampling a sampler?

Dynaccord ADD One was used on Révolution, révolutions. The kick drum is typical.
On september, I think jarre applied an effect (maybe in FX) with the kick drum.

Jarre maybe used both MPC (programming, some samples of KR55) and ADD1 (controlled through midi)
