Vocoder VST ?

Hi !!
I'm looking for a good vocoder in VST (or in hardware if it is under 100€ !)
I would like to speak into it and that it changes my voice in live, a vocoder so !!

Name? Orange Vocoder I think
But if you download it from internet, it is a very big one (few hundred MB), I have a file which does the same and it's only a few KB in size... works fine

But is it possible to speak live in it? Most software vocoders I see are made to import a soundfile and then vocode it.

Probably yes. I'm not sure, but it seems that here you have a choice between internal source, which is a simple synth, or external... obvious - microphone for example. But it's free so ... try it!

IMO, Noyau, you should get a microKorg. Okay, it's almost three times your limit, but if you get it, you'll have a good-sounding portable poly synth AND vocoder.
In hardware, you could also get the Alesis Metavox, but IMO this sucks.
The Electrix Warp Factory might be worth a look, but you'll have to get this second-hand as it's now discontinued.

Yeah, jarrekid, when I'll have more money I'll buy a microKORG, it's better than to buy a 25 keys keyboard, I'll wait the price to be lower

As for other vocoders... the AKAI DCvocoder VSTe is nice... the rest sux.

The only standalone one I remember is Vokator from Native Instruments...
