Well, why don't make by ourselves the ideal tracklist for "Essentials & Rarities". I would like to ask you for your favourite track for the "Essential" volume and the "Rarities" track. Remember, only 1 track per album, and music released by Motors/Labrador/DREYFUS if possible (I mean only that music can be included in this released).

Don't mind if another member choose your favourite ones.

The mine:

- "Arpegiator"
- "Windswept Canyon".

Let's say MR. JARRE our favourite tracklist!!!
JEAN-MICHEL JARRE - S P A N I S H T O U R T U R U R Ú 2 0 1 1

So, have you already downloaded Windswept Canyon? Of course not, you're too busy posting on both forums :D

If one Deserted Palace track, why not the whole album?

Not bad an idea.

Still the question remains, what do you define as 'essential' and what as 'rarity'. Will the 'essential' part just be a regular compilation? Then I have no preference.

I hope 'Essential' means officially released gems like Equinoxe 4 12", MF2 7", Cartolina, Erosmachine (in proper quality!)

And rarities should be tracks that have never been released, like anything from Music for Supermarkets, MF2 97' tour version, Visitors stuff, etc... rare demos, live versions.. that's my view on this concept.

I really think he should go through his archive music. He must have hundreds if not thousands of tracks that never made it onto albums for whatever reason. This to me would be better than releasing stuff we have heard already. :D

Hopefully the rarities part includes material that non of us have ever heard before. Because that will be super interesting.

If so, why recycling old tracks calling them new ones like he often did?
