Drummachine? Groovebox?

Hello,
I'd like to expand my setup by a stand-alone device for beat and maybe bass. I love analog sounds and tweaking , I was reading a lot and now I'm confused as hell. There is so much stuff on the market right now. My budget would be around 200-300€ and for that I'd like a flexible machine for live-performing with my synths. Should i get a 808-clone? Or a groovebox? MC's? Electribes? I like Novation Drumstation, but it has no interface for live pattern making. I can get locally MC-303 but I know how much you guys hate it! An analog groovebox would be perfect...
