Rendez-Vous was released on the same day as the Houston concert if I'm not mistaken... So that would be the 5th of April... Not sure though

Possibly, although I think 5 April 1986 was a Saturday, and normally new album releases come out on a Monday. But yes, I think it was definitely April 1986 that it was released

Regarding the sources, there were several, and sometimes contradictory... But if the day is not sure, the month should be correct.
To note also that the date of release was often different in France and elsewhere.

Yes and that's why the aniversery of Oxygene was in 2007 and not in 2006

Anyhoo. Mind you that release dates differ across countries. Records are usually released on the same day in the Netherlands, I seem to remember vaguely it's Friday in NL, but it might as well be Tuesday, Sunday, Saturday, Wednesday, Monday or Thursday for that matter.

Anyway, my point is, there is not one date on which the albums were released. They differ across europe (and elsewhere).

Just quick note - Waiting for Cousteau was definitely released on 11 June 1990... I have found a couple of adverts that I cut out and kept at the time - with the promotional line of "an album for the 90's".

Incidentally, 11 June was Jacques Cousteau's birthday (he was born on 11 June 1910).
