Hi there !

I have a question regarding the Rendez-vous Concert mixers.

I was reading this topic and i' ve take a look to a picture where i saw a very familiar device :

Image

It's a Yamaha MQ802. Familiar to me because i own an MQ1602.

Question is does anyone know how the mix of the concert has been made ? several MQ802 connected to a bigger mixer ? Was it use just for rehearsal ?

Thank you

Why was he rehearsing, when the whole concert was playback?
All they needed, was two inputs, Left and Right from the CD-player :o)

The whole concert has not been play-backed, just listen to the Original City in Concert records, you'll understand (be careful, i did'nt say the whole concert was live too !!!!)

Well, it is very easy to hear that the most of of the World Tour is live, everything sounds different from the records, in Houston, Docklands ect. everything sound totally like the record, how come they were so good at getting the right sound then? :)

In Docklands, even the bit where the drummer hits the drum sticks together, is the same as the record :)

But I still love his music and the concerts!
