I have the EHX-4800 phaser. I think it sounds pretty good but everybody says that the original phaser from the seventies souds better. I have found a Sovtek phaser and I'm wondering if that one sounds better than the EHX-4800 and if it is comparable with the original seventies phaser. I think it is the Sovtek phaser mk3.

Can you guys please advise me if this would be a good investment (better sound)

the only thing you have to do is to change few resistors. that's all check some othes sites for more infos

Thanks Radek. So you're actually saying that the Sovtek phaser sounds the same as the EHX-4800 reissue then?

they sound same. Maybe 4800 is a bit brighter but like i mentioned its a matter of few resistors.
