If you ever go to Sweden, and Gothenburg, you have to try a "Halv Special med Gurkmajonäs".

In Gothenburg, the best one is sold at the central buss station, in the sausage kiosk inside the buss station called "Nils Erikcsson Terminalen" :D

The only swedish food in my knowledge is 'svensk pølseret', but that is maybe not even from Sweden? :wink:

I've never tried Surströmming...you can't travell with it on airoplanes because it can explode!

I think my aunt eat that stuff around Christmas time. She's Swedish. Go figure. :P

Surstömming is eaten during the autumn. At christmas, we eat another type of harring ;)
