does anyone had arturia or gfroce presets i already have the oxygene 2 lead sound but i want other sounds to play jarre style and does any one have a secuencer part or the oxygene 2 song without the lead solo at the end???

last question i am also looking for other vst plugins or instruments like a vcs 1 to play the intro of oxygene 1

Hi,

I have some ARP2600V presets and working on other jarre preset. I have also Vaacum presets (Vaacum is a offered Pro Tools plugin).

let me know.

On ARP2600V i have

- Equinoxe 7 Bass
- Equinoxe 4 Sequence
- Oxygene 2 Flute (i have to check-it)

To the OP, dude, don't bother with Arturia synths (aside from the CS80V) - they're rubbish.

The sequencer part is a bit tough to get on a subtractive synth, Jarre most likely used his RMI for that, at least that's what it looks like when looking at the harmonic content through a spectral analyser.

Do you mean the glissandos or the theremin-like lead?

Any subtractive synth would be able to do those sounds. For the first one, you need square/triange waveforms. For the second one you need saw/pulse waveforms.

In fact i have both version why i have purchased an arturia 10 years suite who contains ARP2660V... So i can work with both version...

Now we should put together our patches on dedicated server where we can search by instrument or titel. We can group the patches by categorie (Hardware or SoftWare) and give some basic info as a formated text file to reproduce the patch on every machine.

Jarre Patch DataBase should be like this forum but only dedicated for patches?

Is anybody motivated by this idea? Is someone ready to start this "web project"?

Yes that is a great idea.

I've personally for some time been really focused on the sounds from his first two albums, recreating them in different synths.

Oxygene 4 sequence

Its just a sine + triangle, both same octave.
The envelope is what makes it sound just right. (aside from the sequence itself)
I believe this one also came frome the RMI.
