Who's know what is the drums box used for magnetic fields 2 during the china concert ?
Electronic tom and other stuff compare to original track.

who's have experience with this drumsbox ?
I suppose it's triggered by external pad, so midi is possible ?

On the video "Jarre in studio" on youtube, you can see that Jean-Michel triggering the Fairlight with the Simmons . So yes, i suppose that MIDI is possible by modification

You can use simmons pads as a trigger for midi devises. Def leopard uses simmons pads connected to a fairlight.Depeche Mode used metal tubes hit with metal sticks connected to octapads to a sampler for drum sounds.A sound module like aleises d4 has trigger inputs to use simmons pads or a roland octapad as a trigger device
