how long is laser harp sweep ? i mean about.
and how big is pitch difference when sweep starts ?
is sweep non linear ?
Can i test these but is time consuming...
and is sawtooth correct waveform ?

If I recall correctly, the two OSCs of the Synthex are either cross modded or ring modded, and the pitch of one of the OSCs is swept using one of the EGs (LFO wouldn't retrigger).

i know envelope tip but i think sound is sync sound but i dont be sure. i must check ring mod and orginal synth specs. It have both features i mean ringmod and hard sync.

Oops. Sync it is! If you sync Osc 1 to 2, sweep the pitch of Osc 1 using an env with x attack (try) and no decay, sustain, release.

I can look on my synthex to make a "screen shot" of all parameters..
do you know if a blanko sheet exist ?

I dont found yet what is exact time and how big is pitch difference in start.

I know that there is a preset called 'Laser Harp' in the Nostalgia VST from ZeroG, which sounds almost the same, but you do need to do compress it slightly and also add some reverb (as it does sound slightly flat).

I don't think you can buy the VST anymore, but if you have Kontakt then you can download the sound banks that the laser harp is in from their website.

Actually i dont want sample of it. want made itself this sound.

The length of sweep is around 1.3secs

Synthex glides OSC2 from 16 semitones to around 7 semitones. (i.e. a 9st glide if you transpose OSC2 by 7st)

To my untrained ears it's linear. I was also told that the glide / portmento function on the synthex is digital rather than voltage controlled which means that it is more likely to have a linear profile but i'm not really sure how true this is.

I believe the original patch used the pulse waveform for both oscillators with a pulse width around 40%, with OSC2 hard synced with OSC1. However depending on your synth you might get better results using pulse wave on one oscillator and sawtooth or ramp on the second.

The original patch includes some ring modulation and also modulation of the pulse width of OSC2 by OSC1. This latter type of modulation is only found on a few hardware synths such as the Synthex and the Alesis Andromeda so you might not be able to replicate this fully.
