freeware step sequencer

Hi,

I'm looking for a freeware step sequencer who can drive VST plugins. In fact i have installed my TimeWarp 2600 on my laptop and this version does'nt have any 1601 sequencer included so i need to have a very basic step sequencer.

Has some one any tools?
