Converting X-705 to E-310??

Hi @all,
Just got a new organ: the Elka X-705. Great instrument. I wonder if it is possible to treat it with effect pedals so long until I find a similar (or close to the original) sound. The question is: what should I pick, in addition to Small Stone Phaser and Electric Mistress?
Before I go and buy a pedal, I thought I could jam around with some software vsts. So I took Lexicon Pantheon, TAL-Phaser and iZotope Ozone... but this didn't achieve the result I wanted to have. So what would you recommend me to use?
Btw: I took a closer look at the ELECTRO HARMONIX FLANGER HOAX. Sounds a little bit too crazy for me, but it also can be softer... But is it possible that that's a combination between Smallstone and Mistress?

The string section just doesn't produce the same sound. No matter what kind of effects you throw on it.

I know that these two instruments differ a lot in sound from each other.
Maybe there's someone who has one (or more) of this pedals (and maybe the Polyphase) who could do me the favor of processing a sample from me and send it back.
Would be great if anyone could do this for me!

The phaser is not the only part of the Eminent sound. You need a stringer. The Eminent settings are different, but you'll need a stringer or a synth with the 3 dimension Ensemble chorus, to get a sound in the same category.

The X-705 has got two String ensembles which are identical to those of the Elka Rhapsody 610 and the Hohner StringVox. I want these to sound in that way.

At least that's better than nothing. It'll never sound like an Eminent, but you might get some nice stringer pads out of that. Just add a Smallstone Phaser and you have a nice sound. Still I don't know how important it is for you to have the Eminent sound.

It is not that important for me to get close to the Eminent, just that vaporing phasing sound. But I fear it is not only the Smallstone who does all this variation of sound...

For the sweeping effect, you can just add any phaser. If you don't care thát much about the sound, you'd better buy a 30e Boss/Zoom phaser, than a 100e Smallstone...

A Smallstone is rather cheap and does have a personal charm. It's difficult to point out what effects JMJ used on each Eminent sound. It did vary, but other persons on the forum are far better on this area than me.

Already seen that ages ago, but I would prefer to use my organ as far as I can. I didn't do all that work and research to get one of these, bring it to life again and then use software for the tone generation. This organ does not deserve to stand around and gather dust in the room corner... But VST effects will be fine for manipulating the organ sound.

I already know, I saw some YT video where they showed it... the newer one sounds kind of sterile and thin, but only a little, I think it's acceptable. I'm not going to try to find one of those older pedals, that would take me too much time and it won't look as shiny and bright as a completely new one will do.

Yes I know that, but that wasn't my point. Some would also say that Minimoogs sound different, but has an overall similar sound character (Stupid example but I hope you get my point). The different phases of the Prophet-5 did also differ in sound, due to updated hardware components. I tested variosu software phasers some time ago. Nothing sounded quite like the Smallstone. I haven't done an AB test between an old and a new Smallstone, so I cannot comment on the exact difference.

Got your point. I would say it is impossible to say: Ok, I want a Minimoog/Smallstone which is exactly sounding THAT way. But if I find the right pedal, I'll provoke my luck and see what happens...
Btw: Does someone here have the Polychorus pedal? I'm also somewhat interested in that because of the expression pedal input... would be great to be played with my theremin!
