Matrisequencer and Digisequencer

Can someone confirm if the Digisequencer used to be the Matrisequncer ( modified to become the Digisequencer ) or are they 2 seperate units still in exsistance ?

AFAIK they're two totally seperate units. The fact that the Matrisequencer is analogue and the Digisequencer is digital means modifying the one to the other is pointless.
As you may have seen there's a little bit of info
here.

Those pictures i have seen earlier made me think that the layout is bit messy, but close ups reveal, that the machine is neat

From that article showing JMJ's gear during the making of Oxygene 7-13, the Digisequencer is put on top of an Eminent, while the Matrisequencer can be seen in the background on another picture. I suppose those pics are taken on teh same day. Anyway that was just a note.
@Radek - really nice pictures... this makes it possible to spot some details. was it taken during the Oxygene tour?

are you sure only one Digi and one Matrisequencer are here in our world or JMJ may have some , or maybe Geiss himself or Domenique...?

Methinks JMJ and Radek met up in a dusty basement during the recording of the new album. JMJ needed a synth programmer as good as Radek due to his bad memory / patch books being burned. Therefore, Radek appears as "Synth Programmer" on the new JMJ album.
...Am I right?
