I like to figure out which synths JMJ and the crew used for the concerts. Now I am trying to make the list of equipments from Nuit Electronique, I just have one question, which synth is this to the left from the Kurzweil? I looks like a Korg MS2000 but it has too many keys and from what I know the MS2000 wasn't made back in 1998.

Argh yes! so that was actually why it was on a list I found on the net but I didn't suspect that it was the sirius

I'm not so good at synth recognition. I see Roland JP-8000, Clavia Nordlead 2, EMS Synthi VCS (or another Synthi), Kurzweil K2000.
I can't recognize more synths...

Nice to hear, just take your time, I know how it is not always having the money for everything

btw. in the picture there are Kurzweil K-2000, Synthi AKS (or just A), VCS-3, JP-8000, Nordlead, Yamaha AN1x, Quasimidi Sirius and the Korg Minipops 7.
Ofcourse there were also other synths on stage.

I'm pretty sure Jarre had a couple of Akai S1000 samplers In a Rack unit too(behind him)

JMJ had an Akai S3000 in the rack. The nordlead JMJ had was the first generation, TK had a Nordlead2. Cliffhewitt used some ddrum and a Nordlead (first generation).

Thanks for adding the Korg Prophecy.

JMJ did also use another JP-8000 in another rig with an EMS Synthi an a minimoog. A Roland JX-305 was placed under TK's NL2, then I saw Chrostoph Papendieck play the Dynacord Rhythm Stick.

I have no idea which synth that was under JMJ's nordlead:

Hmmm... Can be anything really... JV80 maybe?

The synthesizers are obviously just for show and the music is played with softsynths.

Well actually there were not any software on the screens, it was some video effects like you see from any other concerts with the computer screens or TV's. I still don't know what JMJ was doing with those computer keyboards, he was just pulling them very fast, that was what he did in the clips I saw, but I haven't seen the whole concert.

Btw. i found out that the synth under JMJ's nordlead is another JX-305.

He's playing Arkaos on them computer keyboards

I see nordlead 1 and not a nordlead2 . Nordlead 1 has a different body and one of the corners of the synth is chopped of of something.
