Yes, Akira scored all the Godzilla movies like Rodan + Mothra vs. Godzilla and of course he also did The Tale of Zatoichi!!!
He was a legend too!
He also gave Godzilla his "literal" voice by recording and manipulating the sound made by pulling a leather glove across the strings of a doublebass....how many people know that?
